Deborah
Purcell, M.D.
Since 1983, I have loved the practice of pediatrics at Westside Pediatric Clinic. I founded my own clinic, because I had definite ideals about how I wanted to take care of my patients: to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, up-to-date care; to spend time with families and not be rushed; to listen to children and their parents and really understand their concerns; to do my best to help them be healthy physically and mentally. I still adhere to these ideals and do my best to fulfill them.
I have been blessed with a wonderful, supportive staff at WPC. My medical assistant, Sharon, has been with me for over twenty years, as well as my office manager, Connie. I am grateful for the other fine pediatricians in this group, as well as for my nurse practitioner, Carol Anderson, who is seasoned with 25 years of experience.
I have been married for over 30 years and have three children, 25, 22, and 17 years old.
I also have a dog and cat at home. In my spare time I enjoy singing with my church choir, playing golf, hiking, gardening, and reading.
