Care Philosophy
My practice philosophy is influenced by my diverse and unique experiences before arriving to Oregon: My Japanese upbringing, my medical training at a German public university, and my pediatrics residency at an inner-city hospital in New Jersey.
I consider my patients as a whole, in context of their family and environment, and strive to provide equitable, effective, and efficient care to children of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
Biography
As a parent myself, I am also sensitive to the needs and feelings of my patients’ parents and guardians. Thus, I aim to create treatment plans that are practical and feasible for all of my patients’ families to achieve.

Dr. Watanabe recently joined Westside Pediatric Clinic and is welcoming new patients. She cares for newborn patients extending through their college years. As a parent, Dr. Watanabe is sensitive to the needs and feelings of her patients’ parents and guardians. She aims to create treatment plans that are practical and feasible for her patient families to achieve. Dr. Watanabe is certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Watanabe is currently accepting new patiens and is multilingual, fluent in English, German and Japanese.
